Ever After

I had the pleasure of second shooting a wedding with my very good friend and fellow photography student from Ohio University, Emily Mueller. You should really check out her work here, she is amazing.

This couple couldn't have picked a more beautiful day to celebrate their love and new union. The sun was shining and everyone was smiling as they could feel the love these two shared. This is what makes my job so special. As I look through my lens I can see their friends and family glowing with joy and I get to capture that for the bride and groom to look back on for years to come. I play only a small part in their ever after, but it's a part that lives on far beyond my time with them.

For Grandpa

These beautiful cousins are amazing inside and out. I had the pleasure of taking their picture because they are putting together a special birthday present for their Grandpa. How sweet are they!

We bounced around the Medina Square taking images in some of my go-to locations for beautiful light. After their cheeks were sore from smiling & laughing so much we headed to coffee. Enjoy these glowing smiles!

Spring Forward

Although it doesn't look like spring outside, the time will spring forward this weekend and I'm looking forward to the change. No, I'm not looking forward to being an hour late to church on Sunday but I am excited to move past winter into greener pastures.

One of those pastures being engagement sessions and spring weddings. There is just something so beautiful about getting married when everything is beginning to bloom. In honor of that excitement I thought I'd post some photographs that I never got around to sharing this past year. Here are a few of my favorite moments. Enjoy!

Firsts, Flights, and Fast cars

This past weekend was full of firsts. It was my very first business trip, my first car rental experience, and my first paid on location photography gig. In the span of 14 hours I flew to Baltimore, drove to Dover, DE, drove back to Baltimore, then flew back to Cleveland. All to see some fast cars turn left. Yes, this was my first time at a NASCAR race and although I never would've thought that I would be seen at a place called the Monster Mile, I had a great time hanging out with Matt Tifft and the 89 car team. Hot in Cleveland

When I took these engagement pictures it definitely wasn't hot in Cleveland but it was beautiful. We were both thankful that the rain held off the entire time we were shooting. If you know the Clev at all these pictures should look familiar to you. We went to several different locations and I hope the soon to be bride and groom had as much fun as I did on this shoot.
