Hot in Cleveland

When I took these engagement pictures it definitely wasn't hot in Cleveland but it was beautiful. We were both thankful that the rain held off the entire time we were shooting. If you know the Clev at all these pictures should look familiar to you. We went to several different locations and I hope the soon to be bride and groom had as much fun as I did on this shoot. Enjoy the sometimes unseen beauty of Cleveland!

Kickin' It Old School

As you could probably tell from my last post about finals week.... I'm finally on Spring Break! It has been so nice to just relax with my family and prepare myself for my last quarter of college. However, my photography never takes a break!

I had some down time so I took some photos of our beautifully vintage uptown area and experimented with vintage editing. Here is just a glimpse my hometown. Enjoy!

Nighty Night

It is indeed week 10 here at Ohio University, which means that finals are one week away and even better, spring break is 10 days away (at least for me it is!). For me that also means that I am finishing up my assignments for this quarter! Here is my latest project for class. The assignment was architecture. I did some day and night photography to experiment with both types of light. Enjoy!

Medina in HDR

I've talked a lot about my job at summer day camp, but I actually have another (more important) job. I'm interning for the fabulous photographer, Kate Oren. She photographs everything from newborns to children to families to engaged couples. This lady has some serious talent. It has been so fun working for her, learning from her, and helping in any way that I can. We are currently working on architecture photos for a client. After shooting an adorable brother and sister duo, we took advantage of the square's architecture as test shots for her client. Here are some of the ones that I put together. They are all HDR photos. Enjoy!
